ACGC Partner Associations

The local airport community has always been extremely generous when donating time and money to worthy causes at our airports and within the surrounding communities. As a result, the Airport Community Golf Classic (ACGC) was founded to assist these local airport and aviation-related associations with fundraising efforts to continue the essential work they provide on our industry’s behalf.

The proceeds raised from ACGC will be distributed among our three partner associations, JFK Air Cargo Association, Aviation High School Education Foundation, and CALMM (Council of Airline Maintenance Managers). These organizations are proven advocates for airport and aviation education, workforce development, and the advancement of this industry, as well as shining examples of what makes our airports the best in the world.

JFK Air Cargo Association
JFK Air Cargo Association

The JFK Air Cargo Association, Inc. was founded in 1958, and its goal is to educate and serve various air cargo industry components. Throughout the years, it has held events that inform and educate its members, allowing them to network and support philanthropic endeavors. It also provides representation and support for our members before the federal, state, and local government authorities with whom they do business. The JFK Air Cargo Association membership, Officers, and Board of Directors are drawn from both the public and private sector ranks. Its members include airlines, forwarders, sales consultants, ground handlers, truckers, and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. The JFK Air Cargo Association members are allowed to expand their trade and technical knowledge in the movement of air cargo. It delivers education and training on sales techniques, regulatory issues, and equipment innovations that impact its members. It also lends its voice and opinion on infrastructure and planning issues impacting the air cargo community.

The JFK Air Cargo Association members are focused on giving back to the community where possible. Through the years, it has primarily supported three organizations, Island Harvest, Toys 4 Tots, and Lustgarten Foundation. www.jfkaircargo.aero

Aviation HS Education Foundation
Aviation HS Education Foundation

The Aviation High School Education Foundation is an organization that is recognized as a valuable resource by the Aviation High School (AHS) community. A dedicated panel of Board of Directors partners effectively with alum services [and AHS faculty] to offer programs that foster school tradition and champion a life-long connection and involvement with AHS.

Its alumni are an expression of Aviation High School’s past, an image of its present, and a connection to its future. The most vital purpose of the Aviation High School Education Foundation is to support the network of graduates to bring together like-minded individuals who, in turn, help to support the high school’s continued growth and success. The Aviation High School Education Foundation allows you to reconnect with fellow classmates and develop your professional network in an exclusive alumni environment.

In combination with social networks, Aviation High School’s culture of giving back, and all the wonderful resources our graduates have to offer, we hope to inspire you with a vibrant network of graduates, mentors, educators, and professionals within our alumni network through the work of the Aviation High School Education Foundation. www.aviationhsef.org
